Be active in organizations that express your own view of life. Give to charitable causes regularly.
One element of freedom is the choice of associates. One defense of freedom is the activity of groups to sustain their members. Engaging in activities that are of interest to us and our families and friends, even if they are not political, creates and strengthens the fabric of civil society.
There is a reason all major enemies of freedom in the 20th century were hostile to non-government organizations, free associations, charities, etc.
